Your responsibilities
As a Manager, you will:
Develop, implement and monitor continuous improvement systems for the provision of quality services that comply with legislative standards.
Contribute to the development of new initiatives aimed at strengthening the capacity of services to respond to the needs of people with an intellectual disability and their families.
Provide leadership and support to staff through the implementation of positive management practices and policies.
Adhere to all legislation relevant to the public sector, the department and people with disability.
Nurture internal and external relationships by building and sustaining positive relationships with staff, stakeholders and professional networks.
Proactively engage in negotiations for a mutually beneficial outcome. You provide constructive and regular feedback to staff and when required, you deal with underperformance of individual staff promptly.
Demonstrate your consultation and negotiation skills with stakeholders, staff and colleagues.
Present information in a clear, concise and articulate manner both verbally and written.
Recognise and contribute to the DSAS Governance Structure, supporting quality outcomes for participants through the delivery of quality services and continuous improvement.
