What You Will Be Doing
As an Enrolled Nurse on 4C, you will work within a dynamic and supportive environment caring for cardiac, stroke and general medical patients.
Working under the supervision and direction of a Registered Nurse in accordance with your scope of practice and AHPRA requirements, you will:
- Deliver safe, evidence-based and person-centred nursing care
- Assist with the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care
- Monitor and report changes in patient conditions, particularly those with cardiac and neurological presentations
- Administer medications within your scope of practice and organisational policies
- Support patients with activities of daily living and rehabilitation goals, including post-stroke care
- Collaborate with Registered Nurses, medical officers, allied health professionals, patients and families
- Participate in ward rounds, handovers and multidisciplinary care planning
This role offers exposure to a broad range of clinical presentations while allowing you to further develop your skills within a highly supportive acute care environment.
