Working within the Operating Theatre Department, you'll join a welcoming and experienced perioperative team across four operating theatres, supporting patients through both anaesthetic and recovery care. About the Role and You
As a Registered Nurse within Anaesthetics and/or Recovery, you'll be responsible for delivering safe, evidence-based perioperative care while working closely with anaesthetists, surgeons, and multidisciplinary colleagues.
This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You'll have the opportunity to work autonomously while contributing to a highly collaborative theatre environment focused on achieving the best outcomes for patients.
To support your success, you'll receive:

- Ongoing support from Nurse Unit Managers, Clinical Nurse Educators, and senior nursing staff

You'll bring:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
- Recent experience in Anaesthetics and/or Recovery nursing
- Strong knowledge of airway management and pain management principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- A commitment to patient safety, quality care, and continuous improvement
- Most shifts are 8 hours, with occasional 6- and 10-hour shifts based on operational requirements. Participation in after-hours on-call and weekend rosters may be required.
