About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Site Engineer - Mechanical to join our project delivery team. This is a hands-on site role where you will play a key part in ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following;

Develop design briefs, reports, and specifications in line with client and stakeholder requirements.
Prepare, review, and maintain design and project documentation to ensure accuracy, compliance, and quality standards.
Carry out site inspections, audits, and assessments to verify installation, maintenance, and performance of mechanical systems.
Support the planning, procurement, and delivery of mechanical equipment, materials, and plant, including estimating requirements and costs.
Conduct research and recommend technologies, design solutions, and methodologies to improve project delivery and efficiency.
Oversee material take-offs, monitor contract compliance, and assist with project claims.
Coordinate and work collaboratively with project managers, senior engineers, and other stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards, including risk analysis, JHAs, and corrective actions for non-conformances.
Assist in developing and implementing ITPs, quality control procedures, and maintenance schedules.
Monitor plant and equipment performance, recommend improvements, and coordinate upgrades or modifications as required.
Participate in training, contribute to workforce efficiency initiatives, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Document and maintain accurate records, ensuring all work aligns with contractual obligations and company procedures.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

Degree qualifications in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
Minimum 2 years of site-based experience in mechanical engineering within construction or infrastructure projects.
Strong knowledge of mechanical plant, systems, and equipment, including design, procurement, and maintenance.
Ability to interpret technical documentation and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
A commitment to workplace health, safety, and environmental best practice.
