Full-Time Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) – Augustine Heights LDC

We are seeking a qualified, experienced ECT for an exciting opportunity to join the team at St. Augustine's Long Day Care.

Join a welcoming 75-place early learning centre with a calm, peaceful atmosphere and a strong focus on quality care and education. Conveniently located close to major motorways and public transport, the service also features a spacious outdoor area with a large backyard that supports nature-based learning and play. Supported by a collaborative team and positive culture, this is a great opportunity for an Early Childhood Teacher seeking a supportive environment to grow their career.

About the Role
As an Early Childhood Teacher (ECT), you will:

Deliver an inclusive, engaging program aligned with the EYLF and QKLG
Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues
Create inspiring indoor and outdoor learning environments that spark curiosity and growth
Document children’s learning through observations, evaluations and reflections
Ensure compliance with relevant legislative and regulatory requirements
Represent the service with professionalism, reflecting Catholic Early EdCare values

What You’ll Need

ACECQA-approved Bachelor, Graduate Diploma or Master’s in Early Childhood Education
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications
Valid Blue Card (Working with Children Check – QLD)
Knowledge of the National Quality Framework, National Law & Regulations
Understanding of behaviour guidance and inclusive practice frameworks
Child Protection Training
