Northern Star currently has an opportunity for an experienced Catalogue Officer to join us on a permanent & full-time basis. Reporting to the Inventory Control Lead and based at our Subiaco Head Office, this role will analyse, review, and process ANSI requests; provide support and clarification to site and purchasing teams regarding pricing and general data; build reports and upload templates; provide information to stakeholders for Fixed Price Agreement and contract pricing reviews, and be responsible for uploading and maintaining this information in Pronto; and analyse, review, and maintain data quality within Pronto.

- Review existing data and catalogued items to ensure information is up to date and relevant.
- Reinforce standardisation between all datasets including descriptions, unit of measures, identifying and removing duplicate stock codes.
- Standardise all group coding criticalities.
- Ensure descriptions and notes are clear and precise to ensure an easy search function.
- Ensure Supplier information and documents are accurate to enable the replenishment of stock without additional information.
- Ensure site ANSI requests comply with company policies and Northern Star best practices.
- Provide ad hoc training on the ANSI request process to all Northern Star staff.
- Update and review Supplier pricing.
- Analyse and provide price file review reports to relevant stakeholders.
- Assist Site, Purchasing and Suppliers with catalogue queries to ensure the correct items is being purchased.
- Run and review reports on usages, min/max levels and critical stock.
- Provide support for all Inventory Control lead activities.

With some experience in a similar data analysis, cataloguing or material master data role, you possess an excellent attention to detail and a genuine passion for problem solving, data analysis & interpretation.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Have at least two-plus years of Cataloguing/Material Master Data experience.
- Advanced computer literacy across the Microsoft Office Suite, in particular MS Excel.
- A strong working knowledge of ERP systems, with Pronto experience highly desirable.
- Possess a solid working knowledge and understanding of all aspects of purchasing, inventory and material master data standards.
