QA Engineer - 12 month max term contract

What are we looking for?
The QA Engineer helps develop and implement test strategies while improving quality engineering processes. Working within the engineering team, they ensure the delivery of high-quality, fit-for-purpose software solutions. This role combines strong QA engineering expertise with test automation and coding skills.

Champion QA best practices across software engineering teams.

Develop and execute test strategies, plans, and methodologies.

Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts.

Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.

Manage defects through identification, prioritisation, tracking, and resolution.

Assess testing risks and implement mitigation strategies.

Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.

Manage test environments, test data, and QA documentation while promoting knowledge sharing.
What will you bring?
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Relevant QA certification (e.g. ISTQB).

Proven experience in functional and non-functional software testing.

Strong test automation experience, including Playwright or similar tools.

Experience designing and maintaining automated test frameworks.

Knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps practices.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.

Experience with API, performance, security, and accessibility testing.

Knowledge of cloud testing platforms, test management tools, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, or AI-assisted testing solutions.
