Your day-to-day
You’ll play an important role in our plumbing team to ensure client issues are repaired and replaced functioning safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.
Each day you’ll:
Drive your own work provided vehicle to various sites
Complete preventative and reactive maintenance on taps, toilets, sinks, hot water systems, TMVs, backflows, eye wash safety systems, pipe systems, pumps and roof and gutter systems
Diagnose and clear blockages using a range of methods including CCTV, High Pressure Water Jetting ,eels and snakes
Identify other works that need to be undertaken or not compliant
Document safety checks and work completed
Teach apprentices demonstrating skill and experience
Communicate professionally with clients on arrival and when leaving site
Maintain safe, clean, and organised worksites
Work collaboratively with teammates to meet productivity goals
Contribute ideas for improvement and take pride in high-quality outcomes
About you
You’ll thrive in this role if you:
are based in northern Gold Coast or Logan areas – happy to travel for work across greater SEQ sites
enjoy hands-on, practical work in a team environment
have experience in civil as well as plumbing – have a Truck licence and competent with excavators (1.5-10t)
enjoy rotating roster for on call and afternoon shifts, happy to do OT when needed
are comfortable using phone to record work, inductions and safety checks
are curious, motivated, and open to learning new skills
communicate clearly and value collaboration, you are flexible and easy going
are neat and tidy and pay attention to detail, take pride in doing a job well
are excited by new challenges and continuous improvement
take pride in yourself, your work quality, site organisation, team safety

Must have prior to starting:
Certificate III or IV in Plumbing from TAFE
General Construction Induction (White Card)
Experience in civil as well as plumbing – have a Truck licence and competent with excavators (1.5-10t)
or Experience in Roofing plumbing as well as plumbing and can competently diagnose, quote and fix roofing issues, train apprentices in roofing
Manual Drivers Licence
Police Check
Working with Children Check
Comfortable passing a prestart medical
Comfortable getting flu shot every year
Comfortable with client security checks
Australian citizen or permanent resident
