We're now looking for a Process Engineer to join our Interiors business at our Bradford Ingleburn site. This is a hands-on, site-based role where you'll play a key part in driving process improvements, implementing World Class Manufacturing (WCM) practices, and supporting major operational upgrades.
About the role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role is responsible for identifying and delivering efficiency projects, embedding WCM tools and practices, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site. You'll work closely with operations, maintenance, quality, procurement, and project teams to deliver sustained improvements in safety, quality, cost, and productivity.

Key responsibilities
- Establish and maintain KPIs and benchmarking aligned with Saint-Gobain standards
- Analyse production performance data to identify improvement opportunities across efficiency, quality, safety, sustainability, and cost
- Lead and implement WCM projects to drive year-on-year operational improvements
- Apply Lean and continuous improvement principles to optimise processes and reduce waste
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and document process improvements
- Coach and support teams in the adoption of WCM tools and best practices
- Support major site projects and capacity expansion initiatives, including furnace and glass chemistry process oversight
- Ensure alignment with WHSE and Zero Harm principles across all initiatives
About you
To be successful in this role, you'll bring a strong combination of technical expertise, project leadership, and continuous improvement capability.
Essential requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in Chemical Engineering
- Experience in a manufacturing, heavy industry, mining, or similar operational environment
- Strong Lean, WCM, or continuous improvement experience
- Proven ability to analyse production data and identify process improvement opportunities
- Experience leading projects and influencing stakeholders across operations, maintenance, procurement, and leadership teams
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and process or performance analysis tools
Highly regarded
- Experience with OEE, KPI benchmarking, and performance control systems
- Exposure to large-scale manufacturing upgrades or greenfield/brownfield projects
- Familiarity with tools such as Minitab, SAP, or Power BI
