Full Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:·

Design end-to-end cloud architectures on GCP aligned with business and technical requirements·
Translate business needs into scalable, secure, and cost-efficient solution designs·
Define data architecture frameworks using BigQuery, Dataflow, and Dataproc·
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine functional and non-functional requirements·
Lead solution design discussions, workshops, and architecture reviews· Create high-level and low-level design (HLD/LLD) documents·
Ensure solutions adhere to security, governance, and compliance standards· Design real-time and batch data processing pipelines·
Guide engineering teams during implementation and deployment phases·
Drive cloud adoption and modernization initiatives· Perform solution feasibility analysis and cost optimization·
Ensure integration with enterprise systems, APIs, and third-party services·
Implement data governance and data quality frameworks in architecture design·
Define data modeling and storage strategies in BigQuery·
Collaborate with DevOps teams for CI/CD and deployment automation·
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams·
Evaluate and recommend new GCP services and tools· Ensure system scalability, performance, and reliability·
Support risk assessment and mitigation strategies·
Align solutions with enterprise architecture standards and best practices

Skill / Competencies / Experience:

ESSENTIAL·

Hands-on experience in designing scalable GCP solutions·
Strong understanding of data engineering and cloud architecture patterns·
Ability to create solution design documents (HLD/LLD)·
Expertise in integration, APIs, and distributed systems·
Strong focus on performance, scalability, and cost optimization·
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

PREFERRED·

Experience with multi-cloud architectures (AWS/Azure + GCP)·
Knowledge of real-time streaming (Pub/Sub, Dataflow streaming)·
Experience in regulated industries (telecom, banking, healthcare)·
Familiarity with data governance and metadata management tools·
Exposure to machine learning and analytics platforms (Vertex AI)·
Certification in Google Professional Cloud Architect or Data EngineerADDITIONAL

Education & Certifications·

Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities·
Experience in technical leadership and team mentoring·
Ability to work in fast-paced, client-facing environments·
Excellent documentation, presentation, and communication skills·
Relevant education (Bachelor’s/master's in computer science, IT, or related field) and certifications such as GCP Architect, Data Engineer, or Agile/Scrum
