The Process Development Analyst is an opportunity to help shape the future of Victoria's newest regulator.
Joining a newly established Process Development team, you'll work across major reform initiatives and business improvement programs that influence how the Building and Plumbing Commission delivers services to consumers, practitioners and industry.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys bringing clarity to complexity, partnering with stakeholders, and turning ideas, legislation and policy into practical ways of working. You'll help design processes, develop supporting business documentation, and contribute to meaningful organisational change that improves outcomes for Victorians.
About the Role:
As a Process Development Analyst, you'll play a key role in designing and improving how work gets done across the Building and Plumbing Commission.
Working closely with business areas, project teams and senior stakeholders, you'll lead process mapping and improvement activities, facilitate workshops, analyse complex issues, and develop the policies, business rules and guidance materials that support operational delivery.
You'll join the team at an exciting time. The BPC is continuing its transformation into a modern, harms-based regulator, creating unique opportunities to influence operating models, embed new ways of working and help shape the future state of the organisation.
No two projects are likely to look the same. One week you may be facilitating workshops to redesign an end-to-end process, and the next you could be translating legislative change into practical business rules or supporting the implementation of enterprise process management tools such as Signavio.
What we are looking for:

Experience in regulatory environments, government reform, business process management or tools such as Signavio will be highly regarded, but we are equally interested in candidates who can demonstrate strong analytical thinking, stakeholder engagement and a genuine desire to improve how organisations operate.
