We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Site Manager to join our growing team.This is an exciting opportunity for a strong construction leader who thrives in fast-paced project environments and is passionate about safety, quality, programme delivery, and leading high-performing teams.

About the Role

Reporting to the Project Manager, the Site Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations, coordinating subcontractors and trades, driving programme outcomes, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

You will play a critical leadership role on site, managing construction activities across multiple work fronts while maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Lead all site-based construction activities from commencement through to completion
Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all HSE requirements
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, plant, and materials to maintain programme outcomes
Monitor quality standards and proactively manage defects and non-conformances
Develop and maintain short-term construction programmes in line with the master programme
Manage trade sequencing and site logistics to minimise disruption and delays
Chair subcontractor and project coordination meetings
Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, consultants, authorities, and stakeholders
Mentor and lead Site Supervisors, cadets, graduates, and construction workers
Support Indigenous engagement, participation, and culturally safe work practices across projects

Skills & Experience

8-15 years' experience in commercial construction
Relevant tertiary qualifications, trade qualification, or strong industry experience
Proven experience delivering projects safely and within programme constraints
Strong leadership and subcontractor management capability
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to identify and manage construction, safety, and programme risks
Strong understanding of construction sequencing, logistics, and site operations
Commitment to quality outcomes and continuous improvement
Strong computer literacy and ability to use a variety of software
