Our team continues to grow, we are looking to bring on a new Senior Caretaker to join our team in Aldinga, employed on a Full-Time basis. Your working hours will be 7:00am to 3:00pm Monday to Friday, but may also include after-hours and weekend work, such as supporting out-of-hours events and being on call to respond to after-hours emergencies, where required.

The Position:

Responsible for the delivery of hard and soft facility services, including programmed and reactive maintenance, security and access control, waste and pest services
Manage subcontractors, maintenance works (planned and reactive), site operations and Community Use
Oversee site access, security, keys, deliveries, and traffic/parking management
Build strong client relationships and deliver responsive, high-quality customer service to the College leadership team
Monitor budgets, control costs, and support asset and maintenance planning
Lead and support staff, ensuring effective performance, communication, and safe work practices

Minimum Criteria:

Ability to supply/source a current National Police Clearance and a Working with Children Check
Possess strong commercial acumen and understanding of the fiscal management of site operations
Trade background (e.g. handyman, Trade Assistant or similar) with strong maintenance experience
Proven experience managing a service delivery team, subcontractors and coordinating maintenance or site services
Sound knowledge of WHS, Australian Standards, OH&S principles and building compliance requirements
Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
