About the role:
We're growing our crew of casual landscape labourers to support commercial landscape construction projects across the greater Adelaide region. As a labour hire business, you'll be placed with our clients on a variety of project sites - giving you exposure to different environments, teams, and challenges.
Work is offered on a casual, as-needed basis. For those who perform well and represent our brand professionally, ongoing work opportunities are available as our client base grows.
Key responsibilities:
- Carry out planting, turf laying, mulching, and edging works
- Assist with irrigation and drainage system installation
- Perform paving, concreting, and blockwork to specification
- Conduct site set-out, preparation, and general housekeeping
- Support other trades and site personnel as directed
- Operate hand tools and small machinery safely
- Adhere to all WHS procedures and report hazards promptly
- Represent Vanguard Labour professionally on all client sites
Requirements:
- Valid White Card (construction induction card) - essential
- Current South Australian driver's licence - essential
- Current National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)
- Smartphone to access our rostering and timesheet app
- Strong commitment to safety, site conduct, and punctuality
- Previous experience is advantageous but not essential
- Ability to work autonomously and as a part of a team
