Full Job Description

We are seeking passionate and dedicated casual, part time and full time Early Childhood Teachers to join our team in Inverell NSW. This is an exciting opportunity to make a genuine impact on young children's lives while working alongside a supportive and motivated team.

As an ECT at IDFS, you will:

Lead a group of children aged birth to 5 years (Long Day Care) or 3 to 5 years (Preschool) in a nurturing, play-based environment
Plan and implement a high-quality educational program in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
Build meaningful relationships with children and families
Maintain compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations
Mentor and support educators within your room
Contribute to the centre's Quality Improvement Plan (QIP)

To be considered for this position you must hold:

A Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or equivalent ACECQA-approved qualification
Current NESA accreditation (or ability to obtain) as a NSW Teacher
Current Working With Children Check (WWCC) clearance — Employee category
First Aid Certificate (HLTAID012), Anaphylaxis, and Asthma management (or willingness to obtain)
Current Child Protection training

The following will be highly regarded:

Previous experience in a long day care or Preschool setting
Sound knowledge of the EYLF, NQF, and National Regulations
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with children and families
