We are seeking passionate and dedicated casual, part time and full time Early Childhood Teachers to join our team in Inverell NSW. This is an exciting opportunity to make a genuine impact on young children's lives while working alongside a supportive and motivated team.
As an ECT at IDFS, you will:
Lead a group of children aged birth to 5 years (Long Day Care) or 3 to 5 years (Preschool) in a nurturing, play-based environment- Plan and implement a high-quality educational program in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
- Build meaningful relationships with children and families
- Maintain compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations
- Mentor and support educators within your room
- Contribute to the centre's Quality Improvement Plan (QIP)
To be considered for this position you must hold:
- A Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or equivalent ACECQA-approved qualification
- Current NESA accreditation (or ability to obtain) as a NSW Teacher
- Current Working With Children Check (WWCC) clearance — Employee category
- First Aid Certificate (HLTAID012), Anaphylaxis, and Asthma management (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Child Protection training
The following will be highly regarded:
- Previous experience in a long day care or Preschool setting
- Sound knowledge of the EYLF, NQF, and National Regulations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with children and families
