The role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Legal Executive Assistant to join our Brisbane Dispute Resolution team. This is a full-time, 12 month fixed-term contract role, with the opportunity to transition to a permanent position. Supporting a collaborative and high-performing team, you'll play a key role in the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

Proactive diary and inbox management
Coordinating meetings and travel
Liaising with clients and internal stakeholders to build strong working relationships
Drafting correspondence and assisting with document preparation and amendments
Matter and file management, including opening and closing matters and maintaining electronic filing systems
Preparing monthly bills, client reports and processing invoices
Reconciliation of corporate expenses
General administrative and ad hoc support

What you'll bring

The successful candidate will have legal secretarial experience and demonstrate:

2+ years' experience as a Legal Executive Assistant, ideally within a litigation or dispute resolution environment
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
An understanding of billing and financial administration processes
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
A proactive and collaborative approach with a willingness to support colleagues across the broader team
Strong communication skills
