Casual Disability Support Worker – Campbelltown Region
Tree of Goals Pty Ltd is seeking experienced Disability Support Workers to join our team in the Campbelltown/Macquarie Fields region of NSW.
We are looking for compassionate, reliable and dedicated support workers who are confident supporting participants with personal care needs and complex behaviours and who are committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred support.

About the Role
As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide individualised support that helps participants develop and maintain their living, social, recreational and community participation skills.
You will support participants to build independence, make informed choices and participate meaningfully in their homes, workplaces and communities, while following their individual support plans and organisational procedures.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Support participants to engage in age-appropriate activities and daily tasks, including employment, in-home support and community participation.
- Assist participants to attend community activities, appointments, outings and recreational activities.
- Provide personal care and direct support in accordance with each participant’s individual support plan.
- Monitor participants’ safety, wellbeing and general presentation and promptly report concerns to the Manager.
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support based on individual participant needs and goals.
- Complete accurate and timely participant documentation, including case notes and communication records.
- Follow Tree of Goals processes and contribute to monitoring and achieving individual participant outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with participants, families, carers, case managers and other relevant professionals.
- Assist with the development, implementation and review of individual training, support and behaviour programs.
- Ensure all support programs and activities are appropriately documented, maintained and reviewed.
- Take responsibility as a key worker for designated participants where required, including contributing to monthly progress reports.
- Communicate effectively with other staff to ensure consistent and high-quality support.
- Provide regular updates and reports to the Manager.
- Contribute positively to team meetings, planning activities, communication and policy review.
- Provide assistance and backup to other team members when required.
- Participate in performance development meetings and identify opportunities for further training and professional development.
- Notify Tree of Goals as early as possible if you are unable to attend a rostered shift.
- Contribute to participant case reviews with Employment Consultants, Facilitators and other professionals.
- Work with HR to maintain current certificates, compliance documents and staff information in ShiftCare.
- Regularly submit accurate timesheets through ShiftCare.
- Actively contribute to improving and streamlining Tree of Goals processes and procedures.
- Follow all Tree of Goals incident management procedures when responding to low-risk or high-risk incidents.
- Maintain professional boundaries and uphold participant dignity, privacy, choice and confidentiality at all times.
About You
We are seeking Disability Support Workers who have a minimum of one year of relevant disability support experience.
Experience in personal care and supporting participants with complex behaviours will be highly regarded.
The successful applicants will be compassionate, dependable, professional and committed to providing person-centred support. You should be confident working independently as well as part of a team and be willing to learn and develop your skills.
Applicants should hold the following qualifications, checks and documents, or be willing to obtain them as required:
- Certificate III in Individual Support, Home and Community Services, Aged Care or equivalent (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Working with Children Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- National Police Check
- National Hand Hygiene Initiative Certificate
- 100 points of identification
- Evidence of the right to work in Australia
- Current Australian Driver Licence

Pay: $35.00 – $40.00 per hour
