The School of Nursing, Midwifery and Social Sciences is seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Lecturer in Social Work to help shape the future of social work education and practice.
As a key member of our academic team, you will be responsible for teaching and supervising undergraduate and postgraduate students, delivering high-impact education and personalised support to a diverse student cohort. You will provide leadership in the delivery and ongoing development of the Master of Social Work (Qualifying) course, inspiring and mentoring the next generation of social workers while contributing to high-impact research and scholarship.
Working collaboratively with colleagues, industry and community partners, you will help ensure graduates are equipped to respond to contemporary social and community challenges and create positive change in the lives of individuals, families and communities.

Position Requirements
A doctoral qualification (PhD) in a discipline relevant to Social Work.
A Bachelor of Social Work or Master of Social Work (Qualifying), with eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
Demonstrated ability to teach and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students, with experience in multi-modal delivery strategies for student support.
Demonstrated experience in a management level position relating to Social Work.
Teaching qualification or willingness to pursue a Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching/Education.
Awareness of current professional and educational issues in the field.
Proven research track record through recent published research outputs with the ability to contribute to research in the school.
