About the role
Reporting to the Head of People, the Group Learning & Development Manager leads and delivers the end‑to‑end learning strategy across the Craveable Brands Group. You’ll partner with senior leaders, operations and brand teams to design and embed impactful capability frameworks, leadership programs and learning solutions. Working with key stakeholders and external partners, you’ll champion a Learning & Development strategy with hands‑on execution across the full employee lifecycle. This hands-on role is critical in building capability, driving performance and enabling consistent, high-quality experiences across our brands.
Key Activities Include:
Learning Strategy & Capability Development
- Develop and execute a national L&D strategy aligned to business growth, operational priorities and performance outcomes
- Design and embed capability frameworks across restaurant, field and support centre teams
- Conduct capability and skills gap analysis to identify current and future workforce needs
- Partner with senior stakeholders to align learning initiatives with brand strategy and commercial goals
Program Design, Delivery & Experience
- Design, develop and deliver end‑to‑end learning programs across onboarding, leadership, compliance and functional capability
- Create engaging, practical and scalable learning experiences tailored to frontline and corporate audiences
- Implement blended learning approaches (on-the-job, digital, virtual and facilitator-led) to maximise engagement and retention
- Oversee the full program lifecycle from design through to rollout, evaluation and continuous improvement
Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership Enablement
- Build strong partnerships with Operations, Brand and Support Centre leaders to embed learning into everyday work
- Coach and support leaders to drive capability uplift and reinforce learning on the job
- Influence senior stakeholders using insight, data and commercial understanding to prioritise learning initiatives
- Collaborate with franchise partners to drive consistent adoption across a large, distributed network
Learning Operations, Systems & Continuous Improvement
- Lead learning operations, including governance, compliance training and program standards
- Own and optimise the LMS and learning systems to deliver scalable, seamless learning experiences
- Establish reporting frameworks to measure engagement, effectiveness and ROI of learning programs
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation in learning approaches to support a fast-paced, multi-site workforce
About You
Essential
- A champion of Learning and Development, and a strong advocate for its ability to drive commercial and operational success.
- Proven experience leading L&D strategy in a multi-site, fast-paced environment
- Deep understanding of how adults learn, including self-directed, experience-based and practical learning approaches.
- Ability to both design and deliver end-to-end learning programs that are practical, scalable and drive measurable outcomes
- Experience scaling learning across large, distributed workforces
Desirable
- Experience within QSR, retail, hospitality or franchise environments
- Exposure to LMS platforms and digital learning technology
- Tertiary education in training and or related fields.
