About the Role:
The Warehouse Operator takes ownership and accountability for the timely delivery of orders, is proactive in managing stock control, takes responsibility for the operation of the warehouse, and pulls together to help the Branch and the business succeed. Using a practical and organised approach throughout their duties, this role ensures we are meeting our customer needs and providing an exceptional experience.
Due to the ‘Hybrid’ nature of this role there will also be an expectation regarding support across the Service Technician duties.
The Service Technician role is focused on repairs, training, and delivering exceptional customer service. We achieve this by conducting timely and quality repairs to Maytronics Australia products, both within the local Branch and infield meeting customer needs, as well as supporting our Dealer network and Pool Builders by providing relevant training on repairs and installs. The Service Technician uses their technical capabilities and customer-centric mindset to build and maintain positive rapport with all customers.
Qualifications Skills and Experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a picking/packing warehouse (desirable)
- Experience taking ownership and responsibility for warehouse processes and success
- Practical knowledge and experience of stock control
- Ability to work autonomously and effectively time manage tasks & priorities
- Accurate data entry and reporting skills
- Highly organised
- Dependable and driven
- Safety focused
- Team focused and a willingness to help others
- Forklift licence required
- Demonstrated technical skills and ability to be able to repair Robotic Cleaners, Ozone systems and Chlorinators (desirable)
- Electrical qualification desirable
- Swimming pool plumbing and maintenance skills and experience desirable
- Customer service skills and experience mandatory
- Experience using various computer software programs, such as:
a) Salesforce or similar CRM platform
b) Priority or similar business system
c) Email/Outlook
d) Basic level with Excel, Word etc.
Operational Support:
- Prepare the daily to-be-shipped report and proactively review the upcoming needs for the remainder of the week and the following week to ensure we are prepared
- Ensure stock and equipment is delivered to clients by Maytronics sales order process within the delivery guarantee time of 48 hours
- Daily review of back orders
- Complete the credit issue process when stock is returned
- Complete all relevant administration duties, adhering to ISOX and Maytronics operating procedures
- Support the Branch to deliver exceptional experience
- Promptly and accurately respond to customer enquiries in a professional manner
- Assist customers who arrive to pick up orders, ensuring to deliver the exceptional experience
Warehouse Operations
- Maintain storage area by organizing floor space, adhering to storage design plan, recommending improvements
- Meet warehouse operational standards by contributing warehouse information to strategic plans and reviews, quality, and customer-service standards, resolving problems, identifying warehouse system improvements.
- Keep equipment operating by enforcing operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; requiring preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
- Manage delivery pick up and drop off times
- Notification of all goods inwards to the relevant staff members
- Maintain knowledge of stock levels to assist with audit processes
- Lead all stock audit processes on-site (organized by Operations Manager)
- Secure warehouse by turning alarms on, testing systems.
- Be an advocate for workplace health and safety standards
Repairs
- Repair Dolphin Robotic Cleaners, Ozone Swim Units, Chlorinators, Mineral Swim, and other product categories that Maytronics release in the future.
- Undertake service work Internally at the branch
Providing Exceptional Customer Experience
- Regular contact with Consumers and Trade Customers
- Assisting in troubleshooting
- Booking in repairs / service calls
- Providing feedback regarding repairs
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers
- General customer service enquiries.
Other Duties
Assisting in Branch operational duties as directed by the Manager

Pay: $60,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
