The Opportunity:

Our Sydney design studio is looking for a Senior Visual Technologies Consultant to join the Visual Impact Assessment team! If you are passionate about shaping the visual character and future of our cities and communities, read on!

This role involves delivering technically accurate, visual aids to be used in the design development and assessment stages of our projects, and offering experience in project work flow, leadership, adoption of new processes, project management and client impact across all projects. The projects include a wide range of National Design and Planning team's wide range of urban, rural and renewable energy projects.

This is a fantastic opportunity to secure your position in this established but growing specialised field.

You will:

The Senior Visual Technologies Consultant will be responsible for assisting to prepare certifiably accurate 3D photomontages for Visual Assessments for a wide range of large-scale projects. This will involve fieldwork, photography, understanding and compiling various data sets and preparing final `client ready' visual aids.

In particular you will need to;

Undertake 3D modelling / Rendering using 3DS Max and understand how the process of preparation fits together by having a good understating of; :
Assembling data for existing conditions, such as DEMs, LiDAR, feature surveys, aerials etc along with site photos and GPS or surveyed photo locations across NSW, VIC and QLAND.
Your delivery of project work will meet established commercial targets, that supports the design team nationally.
Iase with clients and project teams, secure all baseline data, analyse and assimilate to ensure you can deliver.
Assist the national lead in delivery, programming, innovation, business development and team upskilling.

About you:

Tertiary qualifications in Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, or Architecture at either a graduate or post-graduate level, or related 3D modelling training.
3D modelling experience in Studio Max, GIS lite, and 3D software programmes eg Revit/Sketchup is highly desirable.
