With high demand in the Northern Gold Coast area, we're seeking compassionate, experienced Disability Support Workers to join our small, dedicated team. Together, we optimise abilities!

What You'll Do

Walk alongside participants to build trust, promote wellbeing, and unlock their potential:

Deliver tailored daily living supports: personal care, routines, medication prompts, community participation, and life skills.
Support mental health needs: de-escalation, emotional wellbeing, coping strategies, and alignment with Behaviour Support Plans.
Facilitate SIL or in-home arrangements for adults with psychosocial disabilities, trauma, or high-intensity requirements.
Foster genuine connections through empathetic listening, cultural respect, and positive risk-taking.
Document shifts clearly, escalate incidents per NDIS protocols, and collaborate with families, guardians, and clinicians.

Who We're Looking For

You're a grounded, resilient professional ready to make a real difference:

Proven experience (12+ months) supporting mental health/psychosocial disabilities in NDIS or community settings – complex behaviours, dual diagnoses, or crisis intervention a must.
Cert III (or higher) in Individual Support, Mental Health, or related field.
NDIS Worker Screening Check, Blue Card (Working with Children), First Aid/CPR, and full driver's licence.
Reliable and Safe Car for Participant transport with comprehensive insurance
Empathetic communicator with manual handling skills, who thrives in dynamic environments.
Passion for person-centred care, compassion, and inclusivity – lived experience welcome.
