An opportunity has become available for a Pharmacist - Advanced (Cancer and Production) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 13 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
Professionally lead the delivery of clinical pharmacy and pharmacy support services
Deliver specialised cancer pharmacy clinical and consultancy services
Foster a culture that delivers safe, patient-centred and compassionate care
Collaboratively develop clinical policy, procedures and work instructions and standards
Produce high quality written clinical reports, documents, service reports and oral presentations
Provide counsel in clinical and budgetary matters relating to pharmacy services
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
Qualifications - abbreviated, Tertiary degree in Pharmacy
Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

About Us
The Pharmacy Service provides medication management services across the Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service (GCHHS), 7 days per week. Our team of approximately 130 (FTE) pharmacists are assisted in their roles by over 55 support persons comprising pharmacy assistants, administration officers, purchasing and stores personnel. The dispensary at each of the two hospital campuses is also equipped with automated dispensing robots to facilitate dispensing, distribution and inventory management activities.
