The School
Warnbro Community High School (WCHS) is seeking highly motivated and effective Science Teachers.
At this stage we are looking to fill the following positions, this may change depending on the needs of the school, ideally commencing Term 3, 2026
- 1 x – permanent part time (0.5FTE) position
- 1 x – 6 month fixed term, full-time (1.0FTE) position with possible extension and/or permanency

The Role
Suitable applicants ideally will be passionate teachers of Science with a proven ability to engage students across all levels including Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR). Applicants should have high expectations, exhibit a commitment to excellence, use a range of pedagogies and have the ability to establish and maintain a positive classroom learning environment. You will ideally be experienced and knowledgeable in teaching Science, as well as being flexible and adaptive to apply the strategies of differentiated instruction and explicit teaching. The ability to teach ATAR Chemistry and Psychology will be highly regarded.
