The Role
We are seeking a passionate physical education teacher ideally with exceptional interpersonal skills, displaying a natural ability to communicate effectively and foster genuine relationships with parents, students and colleagues. As a physical education teacher, you should provide a safe and inclusive environment for students to participate in whilst nurturing students’ social and emotional development, as well as their physical skills.
Ideally, you will exhibit exemplary teaching and behaviour management skills, with a strong motivation to excel, a commitment to delivering best practices and alignment to school priorities. The capacity to excel in an environment characterised by whole-school connected practice, collaborative team structures, and a commitment to ongoing professional growth is highly valued.
As a member of our team, you should leverage high-impact teaching strategies and showcase experience in organisation of whole school and local network events such as sporting carnivals. An understanding of differentiation to meet diverse student needs is highly valued, along with proficiency in utilising various assessment tools to inform progress, provide constructive feedback and guide future planning.
