Intrinsic Health is looking to welcome a Physiotherapist to join our growing and supportive Aged Care team in Currumbin Waters on the southern Gold Coast.

This is a part-time role with an immediate start available, currently including 2 days per week on-site within Residential Aged Care, with the opportunity to expand into community and in-home Physiotherapy work for clinicians looking for additional variety and caseload growth.

What’s involved in this role?

Chronic disease and injury management
Manual handling and functional assessments
Initial assessments and clinical referrals
Falls prevention, risk management, and education
Equipment prescription
Exercise programs and reablement services
Attending clinical meetings and case conferences
Being part of an experienced multidisciplinary team within residential aged care
Opportunity to build community and in-home caseloads if desired

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy
Current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency General registration (new graduates welcome)
Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check & Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain
Valid National Police Check, or willingness to obtain
Current flu and COVID vaccination evidence
Working rights in Australia (sponsorship considered for candidates already living in Australia)
Medicare Provider Number, or willingness to obtain
