Position Title: Associate Nurse Unit Manager - Ellery House Residential Care Unit

Classification: YW11

Salary per hour: $60.93 + superannuation + generous salary packaging options

Employment Type: Ongoing part-time 64 hours per fortnight

Award: Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Health Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2024 -2028

Role description

Ellery House is seeking a motivated and experienced Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) to join our team. In this role, you will act as a clinical leader and coordinator, supporting the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care within a multidisciplinary environment.

Working in partnership with the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM), you will play a key role in ensuring safe, effective, and efficient care while supporting staff development and fostering a positive team culture.

Key Responsibilities

Provide clinical leadership and coordination of the interdisciplinary team
Deliver and support person-centred, evidence-based care
Demonstrate advanced clinical skills in assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
Supervise, support, and mentor nursing and support staff
Ensure care delivery meets professional, organisational, and regulatory standards
Assist with unit management, including staffing coordination and workflow
Promote a safe, collaborative, and patient-focused environment

About you

Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
Demonstrated clinical experience in [relevant specialty]
Proven leadership skills and ability to coordinate teams effectively
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to person-centred care and continuous improvement
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
