Role description
Ellery House is seeking a motivated and experienced Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) to join our team. In this role, you will act as a clinical leader and coordinator, supporting the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care within a multidisciplinary environment.
Working in partnership with the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM), you will play a key role in ensuring safe, effective, and efficient care while supporting staff development and fostering a positive team culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership and coordination of the interdisciplinary team
- Deliver and support person-centred, evidence-based care
- Demonstrate advanced clinical skills in assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
- Supervise, support, and mentor nursing and support staff
- Ensure care delivery meets professional, organisational, and regulatory standards
- Assist with unit management, including staffing coordination and workflow
- Promote a safe, collaborative, and patient-focused environment
About you
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
- Demonstrated clinical experience in [relevant specialty]
- Proven leadership skills and ability to coordinate teams effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to person-centred care and continuous improvement
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
