Are you an expert in strategic planning and policy development for the natural resources sector? Resources Victoria is seeking an exceptional Executive Director, Policy and Programs to lead transformative policy, legislative reform and strategic programs that underpin a productive, competitive and sustainable earth resources industry.
Reporting to the CEO, the Executive Director, Policy and Programs plays a critical leadership role in driving the strategic direction and delivery of Resources Victoria's priorities. You will lead the development and implementation of policy, legislation and programs that support a modern and sustainable resources sector, while providing authoritative advice on complex and emerging issues.

About the Group
Resources Victoria's mission is to facilitate informed and responsible earth resources exploration, development, extraction and rehabilitation in Victoria. This includes oversight of mining activities for critical minerals, gold and other metals, petroleum, coal, sand, rock and gravel.

This is a fixed term position available for a period of up to 5 years. The work location for this position is 8 Nicholson Street, East Melbourne with hybrid work arrangements available.
