Looking for a role where you can focus on delivering quality therapy, rather than managing overwhelming caseloads? At CliniKids, part of The Kids Research Institute Australia, you'll have the time, support and professional development opportunities to do your best work. Working with children aged 6 months to 9 years with autism and developmental differences, you'll be part of a highly collaborative multidisciplinary team in purpose-built, neurodiverse-friendly clinics.
With manageable clinical workloads averaging around four clients per day, you'll have dedicated time for therapy planning, documentation, and family-centred care. You'll be supported through monthly individual and peer supervision, ongoing professional development opportunities, and training in evidence-based assessment and intervention approaches, helping you continue to grow your clinical skills and confidence.

Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Support children with autism and their families through evidence-based speech pathology interventions that foster communication, participation and independence.
- Provide manualised interventions (e.g. PACT, SCERTS) as selected by CliniKids.
- Contribute to clinical resources and participate in community engagement.
- Comply with Medicare, NDIS, and other funder requirements.
- Support research initiatives and participate in forums and team learning.
Work in a way that safeguards our clients and protects their rights at all times.

Located across both our Subiaco and Joondalup offices, this position will be offered on a full-time, ongoing basis. Part-time will be considered for the right applicant.
About You
This position would suit someone who possesses highly developed interpersonal and relationship-building skills, has an enquiring dynamic approach to therapy and is inspired by new challenges.
The key to your success will be your ability to demonstrate the following:
- Strong clinical skills in the assessment and therapy/intervention with pre-school and school-aged children with autism or developmental delay.
- A sound understanding of a range of evidenced-based autism and speech therapy interventions.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills appropriate to establish and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, clients, families and the wider community.
- Outstanding written communication skills with strong attention to detail and ability to translate technical concepts or research findings into appropriate language.
- Excellent organisational skills, with flexibility and ability to set priorities and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
A commitment to ongoing professional development.

Specific Requirements:
- Eligible for a Medicare provider number.
- Eligible provider for NDIS services.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience, including early intervention to pre-school and school aged children with autism or developmental delay.
- Familiarity with National Guidelines for supporting autistic children in Australia.
- Can commit to a minimum of 0.6 FTE
