We are seeking a multi-disciplinary Fire & Hydraulics BIM Modeller with experience in fire protection, detection, and hydraulics modelling to join our VIC Group 1 Team. You will deliver high-quality BIM models, data, and documentation while ensuring compliance with modelling standards and client requirements. In addition, you will provide technical guidance to the BIM team, supporting both Technicians and Engineers within a collaborative virtual design environment.
The Opportunity
- Develop and coordinate BIM models for fire protection, detection, and hydraulic systems across design and construction phases
- Produce accurate drawings, models, and documentation while ensuring compliance with Common Data Environment (CDE) standards
- Lead coordination reviews and resolve design and modelling issues through virtual collaboration
- Support project setup, documentation management, and efficient planning of team resources
- Engage with internal teams and external stakeholders, contributing to innovation, risk management, and continuous improvement

Is this role right for you?
- 3–5 years’ experience in fire protection and hydraulics BIM modelling within consulting or contractor environments
- Proficiency in BIM tools such as Revit, Navisworks, and Revizto, with knowledge of openBIM workflows and IFC standards
- Strong understanding of fire and hydraulic systems, with experience delivering coordinated building projects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
- A proactive, organised approach with a commitment to quality, continuous learning, and professional development
