The Opportunity

We’re seeking an IT Applications & BI Lead to play a key role in driving our technology landscape across SAP ECC and SAP BW on HANA.

Reporting to the Applications & Data Analytics Manager, this role blends technical leadership, business partnering and data strategy, ensuring our systems and data capabilities enable better decision-making, operational efficiency and strategic outcomes.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives on partnering with and influencing people, working closely with stakeholders, and driving continuous improvement across systems and processes.

What you’ll do

Lead and mentor a team of application support specialists, BI developers and analysts
Act as the key interface between business stakeholders and IT teams
Drive requirements gathering, workshops, process mapping and solution design
Oversee SAP ECC Level 2 support across core modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, HCM, PM, WM)
Manage system enhancements, upgrades, patches and continuous improvement initiatives
Lead implementation and enhancement projects, managing scope, timelines and risk
Champion change management, including user communication and training delivery
Build data capability across the business to improve decision-making and insights
Maintain high-quality documentation including functional specs, process flows and user guides
Identify opportunities to optimise systems, processes and business outcomes

What you’ll bring

Minimum 5 years’ experience across SAP support, business analysis or IT applications roles
Proven experience leading teams and mentoring technical or functional specialists
Strong understanding of SAP ECC and core business processes (P2P, O2C, R2R, HR/Payroll)
Experience delivering projects, managing stakeholders and driving outcomes
Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, business-friendly language
Strong problem-solving skills with a logical and methodical approach
Experience with ITIL processes and service management tools (e.g., ServiceNow)
Exposure to SAP S/4HANA or SAP cloud solutions (advantageous)
