About the role
We are seeking a part-time OSHC Coordinator to work alongside our long-standing and highly experienced part-time Coordinator, sharing the role within our well-established OSHC program. Our OSHC is located on the beautiful grounds of Our Lady of Good Counsel Primary School in Forestville and is open from 7:00am to 9:00am in the mornings and from 3:00pm to 6pm in the afternoons Monday to Friday during term time. During school holidays and Pupil free days the service runs a Vacation Care program from 7:30am- 6:00pm, Monday to Friday.

This is as a Permanent Part-time position

Duties

Engaging, implementing, and evaluating the program to ensure it caters for the interests and needs of school age children and meets the requirements of the 'My Time - Our Place' Framework.
Understanding the requirements of being the Nominated Supervisor under the Education and Care Services National Regulations.
Ensuring compliance to the National Quality Standards and the Regulations.
Building ongoing positive relationships with the school, families, and employees.
Working on administrative tasks and efficient day to day operation of the service.

Requirements

Working with Children Check.
Completion of CHCPRT025 "Identify & report children and young people at risk" certificate or willingness to obtain
Current First Aid certification/CPR certification/Asthma and Anaphylaxis or willingness to obtain
Foundations of child safety training certificate or willingness to obtain
Supervisors Food Handling certificate or willingness to obtain

Highly Desirable

Qualifications- Diploma or Cert IV in OSHC.
Experience as a Coordinator or Assistant Coordinator within an OSHC environment
