Full Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Enrolled Nurse to join our amazing team to support all aspects of in-home and community care for a six-year-old child with high needs, living in their home in Bundaberg.

This is a full-time position, immediate start. No ABN workers.

To be successful in this role you will possess the following attributes:

· A Diploma or above qualification with at least one-year relevant experience; Or at least three years of relevant experience without formal qualification

· Experience in airway management and suctioning essential

· Experience in high-risk aspiration situations

· compassionate and caring disposition

· an appreciation of the complex and individual nature of working within a family-oriented environment

· willing to learn new ways to work with individuals

· creative outside the box thinker

· good at problem solving

· team player

· excellent communication skills

Roles and duties may include but not be limited to supporting the child with personal care including assisting with showering, dressing, feeding, toileting, as well as shopping, cooking, housekeeping and cleaning and accessing.

Successful candidates will need to provide the following:

· 100 points ID

· NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate

· NDIS Worker Screening Check

· WWCC

· First Aid Certificate

· APHRA registration

Salary is paid in alignment with the Nurse Award.
