We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Bar Attendant to join the team at PARC Brasserie & Bar and Pullman Adelaide.

PARC Brasserie & Bar showcase the essence of Europe and Mediterranean cuisine, nested at Pullman Adelaide, premium Accor hotel. Our Restaurant & Bar will take you on a journey in celebration of locally sourced ingredients and indulge our clients in specialties of Wine, Whisky and Gin that perfectly complements our dishes.

The successful applicants will become part of a vibrant team who seek for excellence. Experience in a premium quality bar and cocktail making is preferred. If you can provide a 5 start level of service and have some fun along the way, then this job is right for you.

Job Description

What You Will Be Doing:

As a Bar Attendant, you will assist in preparing and serving beverages, keeping the bar area clean, and ensuring an excellent guest experience. You’ll interact with customers, provide great service, and support the wait staff in a team-focused, premium setting. Flexibility and a positive attitude are essential.

Key Duties:

Provide friendly, efficient food and beverage service to all guests.
Ensure a positive experience and environment for guests.
Build relationships with VIPs and regulars to meet their needs.
Coordinate with the kitchen to ensure timely service.
Accurately manage revenue and complete daily cash/charge summaries.
Maintain control of service equipment, record breakages, and perform stock checks.
Follow cleaning schedules to maintain high hygiene standards.
Complete mis-en-place before guests arrive.
Ensure accurate billing and follow hotel procedures.
Adhere to liquor licensing guidelines and hotel policies.
Maintain RSA certification and follow responsible service principles.

Qualifications

What we're looking for:

You are an accomplished bartender with a passion for crafting innovative and distinctive beverages, expertly shaking cocktails and spirits, always striving for excellence in your craft.

Throughout your career, you have honed your skills in creating martinis and a range of intriguing mixed drinks, and perhaps you have developed some of your own signature creations along the way.

As someone who is deeply immersed in the hospitality industry, you possess an extensive knowledge of bar operations. You excel at engaging with guests, offering an exceptional experience, and maintaining a collaborative, team-oriented approach.

Additionally, you will occasionally lend a hand to other areas of operations, adding variety and dynamism to your day-to-day responsibilities.

If this sounds like you, then let's get into the skills, experience and qualifications you will will need:

Service focused personality is essential and a passion for everything food and beverage
Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
Upscale hotel setting experience is an asset
Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities and the ability to lead by example
Hold a valid and current RSA in SA. RP Bagde is desirable.
Someone who can think outside the box to ensure continuous improvement
The ability to work various shifts in a 7 days business operations, including nights and weekends.
