Location: Orthopaedics Ward, The Mater Hospital, North Sydney
Salary: 29.87– 32.79 AUD base per hour +super, Pro-rata

About The Role

In this program you will be allocated to the Orthopaedics Ward. This is a highly productive surgical orthopaedics ward, where you will report directly to the Nurse Unit Manager and integrate into the nursing and multidisciplinary team.
The Assistant in Nursing provides support to the Nursing staff in the delivery of basic care in busy surgical department. This experience could assist you in securing a New Graduate Position in the future.

About You

Enrolled in and undertaking a Bachelor of Nursing at 2nd year level.
Enrolled in and undertaking a Diploma of Nursing and in at least 2nd stage.
Certificate 3 in Health Service Assistance.
Complete fundamental clinical skills, to assist the RN/EN workforce.
Flexible and available to work on a 24/7 rotating roster.
Previous experience working in an acute healthcare area (desired).
