About the business

Gusto Riverfront Restaurant is a seasonal Modern European cuisine in a casual space with a breezy veranda overlooking the river in Noosaville.

About the role

Gusto Riverfront Restaurant is looking for an experienced chef to join the team on a full-time permanent basis. The role would suit someone who is self-motivated and looking for a challenge.

As the successful applicant, you will possess the following:

At least 2 years of relevant work experience as a Chef
Qualifications (Cert IV in Commercial Cookery and Diploma in Hospitality Management or equivalent)
Knowledge of Occupational health and safety (OH&S)
Experience in menu planning
Experience in budgeting

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Developing and leading kitchen team to consistently deliver high-quality food.
Supervising kitchen operations effectively and to a high standard while meeting labour targets.
Timely and effective service of high-quality food.
Responsibility for managing the cost of goods and wage targets.
Rostering and shift management.
Stock management including ordering, rotation, and wastage control.
Strong work ethic and attention to detail in all areas of your work.
