The Role:
A trolley of manufactured panels is given to each cabinetmaker to assemble and build. This includes curved works, sharknose detail and an array of different hardware whatever is specific to the nominated project. There is a sense of achievement as each cabinetmaker has their own project – we are not a cookie cutter manufacturer i.e. the cabinetmaker, is NOT assigned just a portion of the project.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Examine drawings, work orders, plans, and specifications to determine project requirements
· Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and finish cabinets, doors, drawers, benchtops, and other custom joinery components
· Operate and maintain woodworking machinery, hand tools, and power tools safely and efficiently
· Manufacture high-quality cabinetry and joinery products to required specifications and quality standards
· Install cabinetry, benchtops, wardrobes, shelving, and other joinery products at client sites, ensuring a high-quality finish
· Work collaboratively with team members, supervisors, and clients to ensure projects are completed accurately and on schedule
Experience and Educational Qualification Required:
· Fully qualified cabinetmaker with minimum two years of experience
· A trade qualification in Cabinet Making or a related trade
· Expertise in manufacturing of custom made joinery, including laminating, curved work, shaker high end style and a full range of cabinetry, vanities, wardrobes, laundry large curve ends
· Proven ability to safely operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and workshop machinery
Salary : $79000-$98000 /year +Super (depending on experience)
Pay: $79,000.00 – $98,000.00 per year
