What you'll be doing
As the Maintenance Contracts & Compliance Manager, you will lead the development, implementation and management of maintenance compliance frameworks and specialised asset maintenance contracts across WSLHD. You will play a critical role in ensuring facilities and equipment remain safe, compliant, reliable and cost-effective throughout their lifecycle.

Develop and oversee preventative maintenance programs, compliance systems and asset management frameworks for building services and biomedical equipment

Lead the procurement, implementation and lifecycle management of specialised maintenance contracts, ensuring quality, value for money and legislative compliance

Monitor contractor performance, manage service delivery outcomes and provide expert advice on contract, risk, cost and operational matters

Drive compliance with relevant standards, accreditation requirements, building codes and legislative obligations across the District

Deliver strategic reporting, business cases, audits and continuous improvement initiatives to optimise asset performance and support informed decision-making

Tertiary qualifications in building, engineering, asset management, facilities maintenance, construction and engineering based projects or demonstrated equivalent experience in contract management.

Extensive knowledge of facilities maintenance, asset management, building principles & standards and environmental and heritage issues, with expertise in the technical aspects of plant and building services maintenance and experience in effective preventative maintenance systems.

Advanced capabilities in enabling the business areas of contract management, procurement and project management and in delivering results.
