At PTC, our mission is to provide the best solutions for smart devices.
About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Accounts Payable & Finance Executive to join our Head Office team in Crestmead.
This is more than a traditional Accounts Payable position. You'll take ownership of our end-to-end Accounts Payable function, while working directly with our CFO across broader finance, reporting and commercial activities.
Approximately 60% of the role will focus on Accounts Payable, with the remaining 40% providing finance and executive support to the CFO.
It's an opportunity for someone who loves getting the details right but also wants broader exposure to how finance supports a growing national business.
What You'll Be Doing.
Accounts Payable – Approx. 60%:
-
Manage the end-to-end Accounts Payable function, including invoice processing, coding, approvals and payment runs.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve invoice, payment and account discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate supplier records, monitor AP ageing and respond to supplier enquiries.
- Support month-end close, including AP reconciliations, accruals and cut-off.
- Maintain strong AP controls and identify opportunities to improve processes and systems.
CFO & Finance Executive Support – Approx. 40%:
-
Provide direct financial, administrative and operational support to the CFO.
- Assist with financial reporting, KPI reporting, spreadsheets and ad hoc analysis.
- Support banking, insurance, leases, contracts and other commercial administration.
- Coordinate finance-related actions and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support month-end, year-end, finance projects and other priorities as required.
This Role Would Suit Someone Who...
-
Has solid end-to-end Accounts Payable experience and is confident taking ownership of the function.
- Wants to broaden their experience beyond transactional AP into wider finance and commercial activities.
- Is highly organised and comfortable managing competing priorities.
- Has exceptional attention to detail and takes pride in accuracy.
- Is confident working with senior leaders and handling commercially sensitive information.
- Identifies problems, investigates them and takes ownership of finding solutions.
- Enjoys improving processes rather than accepting "that's how we've always done it".
To Be Successful, You'll Bring:
-
Demonstrated end-to-end Accounts Payable experience.
- Strong reconciliation and problem-solving skills.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with financial data and reports.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organisation and time-management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- The ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with others.
- Confidence communicating with suppliers, internal stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Experience supporting month-end processes.
- A proactive, accountable and solutions-focused approach.
Experience providing broader finance or executive support to a CFO, Finance Manager or senior finance leader will be highly regarded.
