Preparing pizza dough and ensuring appropriate portioning, fermentation, storage and handling.
Monitoring the quality of dishes throughout preparation, cooking and presentation.
Ensuring meals are prepared consistently and presented according to restaurant standards.
Discussing food preparation and service requirements with management, kitchen staff and front-of-house employees.
Demonstrating cooking techniques and providing guidance to kitchen staff.
Managing portion control, food wastage and kitchen costs.
Maintaining appropriate stock levels and conducting stock rotation.
Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements.
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe kitchen environment.
Assisting with the training and supervision of kitchen staff.
Monitoring kitchen equipment and reporting any maintenance requirements.
Supporting the kitchen during busy service periods and ensuring orders are prepared accurately and efficiently.

Pay: $80,000.00 per year
