The Role
We are looking for experienced Enrolled Nurse (EN) for our Aged Care Home, in Kangaroo Flat, home to 50 residents.
- Looking for someone to work 6 PM shifts per fortnight
- Apply clinical skills and up to date knowledge of the aging process to residents within the home
- Be responsive to resident's care through tailoring holistic care to meet individual needs
- Respect and promote dignity, privacy and confidentiality of each resident at all times
- Systematically plan, implement and evaluate care, and oversee accurate and timely documentation
- Spend time with the residents to connect, share stories and show empathy
About you
- Current Division 2 nursing registration with AHRPA
- Experience creating genuine connections with clients and families and team members
- Understanding of the aged care legislative framework and requirements, including safe medication administration
- The ability to show empathy and treat others with dignity and respect, and a collaborative approach to working with residents, staff, colleagues and other key stakeholders
- Demonstrate the application of clinical skills in areas such as tissue viability, continence management, dementia/behaviour management, infection control, amongst others
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance ID or ability to obtain
