Role Details

Location: Tropicana, WA
Roster: 2:1, day shift and night shift
FIFO from Perth and Kalgoorlie

About the Role

You’ll work within a skilled and experienced team, operating heavy ancillary and production mining equipment to safely meet production targets across our Surface operation at Tropicana.

Responsibilities

Safe, efficient operation of heavy ancillary and production equipment
Complete pre-starts and report hazards or defects immediately
Follow plans, instructions and traffic management rules
Maintain a tidy work area and support safe interactions with all teams
Contribute to our people-first culture and live our Winning Values
Help teammates, share knowledge and support a strong crew culture

What You’ll Bring

Experience in mining operating the following equipment:
- Dozers - CAT D11 | D10 | 854K Wheel Dozer
- Loaders - CAT 993 | 992
- Graders - CAT 18M | 16M
- Dump Trucks - CAT 793F
- Excavators - CAT 6060 | 6040 or Hitachi 5600 (highly desired but not essential)
Strong safety focus and ability to speak up
