We are looking for enthusiastic and dynamic applicants for the role of Coordinator Gatekeeper Suicide Prevention.

About the role

Coordinator Gatekeeper Suicide Prevention

If you are passionate about empowering communities, strengthening mental health outcomes, and driving meaningful change, this role is for you. As the Coordinator, Gatekeeper Suicide Prevention, you'll lead the design, delivery, and evaluation of Gatekeeper Suicide Prevention training programs across local, regional, and state-wide settings. Your work will support individuals, families, carers, and advocates ensuring every training initiative reflects compassion, evidence-based practice, and a commitment to better suicide prevention, mental health and alcohol and other drug (AOD) outcomes.

What You'll Do

Lead program development: Shape high impact suicide prevention training that equips workers with the skills to recognise and respond to people at risk
Coordinate statewide delivery: Work with local partners, service providers, and regional teams to ensure consistent, high-quality training
Drive continuous improvement: Evaluate program effectiveness and embed best practice approaches
Champion person centred care: Ensure training reflects the needs of individuals, families, carers, and advocates
Build strong partnerships: Collaborate across sectors to strengthen suicide prevention capability
