We are seeking reliable and community-minded individuals to join our team as School Crossing Supervisors. In this role, you will play an important part in keeping children, families, and pedestrians safe as they travel to and from school.

About the Role

As a School Crossing Supervisor you will be directly contributing to the safety and wellbeing of children and families in our community by:

Supervising and supporting the safe movement of children and the public across designated school crossings.
Maintaining awareness and following correct safety procedures at all times and reporting incidents as required.
Your ability to represent Council professionally when working with schools, the general community, and local authorities.

About the Successful Candidate

Our ideal candidate will:

Enjoy working with children and interacting with the community.
Be reliable, punctual, and able to follow set procedures to ensure safety.
Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, remaining calm, courteous, and confident in a public-facing environment.
Be able to work independently while maintaining awareness and good judgement.
Be willing to undertake a Working with Children Check and National Criminal History Check.
Will have the ability to meet physical requirements of the role during all weather conditions
