Full Job Description

Join our Global Trade Support Services team and play a vital role in delivering end-to-end support across the trade lifecycle. Partner with both Trading and Execution teams and Allocation and Settlement teams to ensure efficient operations and outstanding service in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

What role will you play?

You will help with contribution to the front-to-back trading desk, and operational technical support teams across the Global Equities platform estate at Macquarie. You will ensure the technical delivery of key operational projects and initiatives and provide regular updates regarding Equities Operational changes to Macquarie business stakeholders, users, and the wider Technology Enterprise team. You will work closely with business stakeholders and deliver prompt responses to inquiries and from the business, support key cash execution platforms including vendor products Instinet Newport, FIS and Fusion Raptor and establish partnerships with stakeholders to coordinate a variety of projects in a highly operational and regulated environment.

What you offer

1+ years’ of experience in a previous Technology operations support role working alongside users.
Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Unix and SQL (both in a physical and Cloud environment)
Previous experience creating tools to automate manual operational tasks and leveraging AI to develop automation tools.
Experience working with execution and trading platforms - exposure to Instinet Newport, FIS and IRESS would be highly regarded
Higher education in financial technologies, with some familiarity of Electronic Execution (Algorithmic & DMA trading) and FIX protocol.
