Demi Chef de Partie - Permanent Full-Time

Bring your passion to a boutique hotel kitchen where creativity, quality, and collaboration shine.

We’re on the lookout for a dedicated and passionate Demi Chef de Partie to joi*n our team at Lanson Place Melbourne, on a permanent full-time basis*.

Overview of Duties

As a Demi Chef de Partie at Lanson Place Parliament Gardens Melbourne, you will support the culinary operations of both Albert Lounge and Chronicle 502 Kitchen. You will assist in preparing and presenting food to the highest standard, reflecting the elevated yet approachable dining experience that defines our boutique luxury hotel.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in precision, organisation, and teamwork. You will work closely with the other senior team members : a Chef de Partie, a Sous Chef, and Executive Chef to consistently deliver refined dishes across à la carte dining, meetings and events, and in-room dining experiences.

Assist in the preparation and service of quality dishes in line with Lanson Place standards.
Maintain mise en place and readiness for Albert Lounge and Chronicle 502 service periods.
Ensure food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards are maintained within your section.
Support senior chefs with day-to-day kitchen operations and service delivery.
Contribute positively to a collaborative and efficient kitchen environment.

What We’re Looking For

A strong passion for food and hospitality, with a desire to grow in your craft
Previous hotel or premium dining experience preferred
High attention to detail and commitment to consistency
Positive attitude, team spirit, and great communication skills
Flexibility to work across a rotating 7-day roster including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays
Full-time availability (minimum of 38 hours per week)
