About the role Sous:
Qualified and experienced Senior Chef required to join our kitchen brigade. Must have a love for food, be able to produce a consistent product, thrive in a busy environment and have great communication and organisational skills.
You will be responsible supporting the Head/Executive Chef in our busy restaurant kitchen delivering consistently high-quality food.
Responsibilities:
- Assist managing & supervising all aspects of kitchen including chefs and cooks;
- Prepare meals and assist in running of the kitchen and restaurant;
- Maintain larder and inventory;
- Assist with menu planning and seasonal menu changes;
- Assist with management of kitchen and staff;
- Quality control and assurance;
- Maintaining OH&S and hygiene standards;
- Assist in staff training where required and skilled to do so.

Skills and experience
- Minimum Certificate III or higher qualification in Commercial Cookery;
- Min. 3+ years' experience in chef position wanting to step-up.
- Flexible working hours subject to the demands of the business – Alternate weekend work required;
- Good communication skills and be able to work well as part of a team.
- A high standard of spoken and written English.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $76,515.00 – $86,515.00 per year
