Full Job Description

We currently have an opportunity for a Facilities Coordinator in North Ryde to play a key role in supporting the smooth, safe and high‑quality operation of essential facilities. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you’ll help deliver high‑quality outcomes that support our clients, communities and essential services.

What You’ll Do

This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:

Coordinating day‑to‑day facilities operations and maintenance activities across assigned sites, ensuring environments are safe, compliant and welcoming.
Partnering with contractors, service providers, tenants and internal teams to deliver works to a high standard, on time and safely.
Supporting health, safety and compliance initiatives through site inspections, risk assessments and accurate record‑keeping.
Assisting with maintenance planning, asset registers, reporting and procurement in line with Downer policies and budgets.
Responding to tenant and stakeholder enquiries with professionalism, care and a solutions‑focused mindset.

What You’ll Bring

Experience in facilities, property or asset management, or a related operational environment.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, plan and manage competing demands confidently.
Clear, respectful communication skills and the ability to build trusted working relationships.
A sound understanding of WH&S and compliance requirements, with a genuine commitment to Zero Harm.
Confidence using systems and tools to track work, maintain records and support continuous improvement.
